Portrait of a Graduate

Our graduates are the product of a biblical theology, educational philosophy and set of community values shared by staff. On this foundation, we aim to build a learning community where the diverse capabilities of students are developed, preparing them for creative contributions to their communities both now and in the future.

These pillars of community, capacity and creativity are developed through the intentional cultivation of skills like empathy, confidence and learning awareness. These skills are developed through learning experiences that culminate in performance tasks and products that students showcase at the end of learning cycles.

In the end, our students have the social and emotional skills (like empathy) developed through, and required by, community life. They have a confidence that comes from having their unique abilities and capacities developed and applied. They also have an awareness of their own thought patterns and tendencies, allowing them to more creatively adapt and contribute to the world around them.
